I'm a lifelong creative and artist that has been working on Graphic Design and UI/UX Design for the past 6 years. I started out teaching myself to code and began learning the basics of web development and design. The last 6 years I've been working as Frontend Developer and UI/UX Designer and I'm now transitioning into a full time UI/UX Designer. I have a great passion for creating and designing things and that's not limited to a digital space. I've worked with a lot of different mediums from painting and drawing to wood working and upholestry, and I love trying new things and dedicated to learning more. I'm always driven to developing myself and my skillset and that's not limited to career oriented skills but life and myself in general.

Whether it was planned or happenstance, I've always gravitated towards jobs and career paths that help people. Relay Operator for the Deaf, Public Safety, Weight Loss Consultant, etc. Even most of the places in my Developer experience have been companies trying to change or help or develop people and that is very near and dear to me.
Before I rolled into a career doing this I was a 911 dispatcher for over 11 years. As a dispatcher I was heavily involved with Training for 5 of those years. This included training new hires, cross-training tenured employees, writing the Standard Operating Procedure manual on multiple dispatch positions. Was also a Lead for the center and would supervise and maintaing the shift as well as part of the interview, testing and hiring portion for new hires.
As I've said: I love to create. This can be wireframing something new for a new project, sprucing things up for an existing one, or coming up with a brand new theme or branding or design from scratch or the basic notion of something. Collobariting with others in a creative enviroment is extrmely fun for me because we all have different perspectives and ideas and what I might do with something, someone else might do in a completely different way, so it's very exciting to work with others in that space.
Lastly I will say above all else I'm a professional problem solver (and geek/dork) and that go in many directions and solved many different wants. I love the challenge of solving new problems and strive to find creative and efficient solutions whether done alone or with others.
And for a bit of cuteness, this is my dog-daughter Lilith.
